Not much is known of the origin of Ghost Water, though it can be assumed by its nature that this spell water is Hoodoo. This is not to be confused with Spirit Water, which is used for an entirely different purpose. Ghost water is primarily used for hexing magic, though it can also be used to aid in contacting the departed, and other kinds of spirit work.
Many spells and magical tools known to the occult community can trace their origins back to the Hoodoo practices. The act of harnessing power from the spirits of those who surround us is a well known practice for many age-old cultures and religions as well, making this an exceptionally useful spell water to have.
Example Uses During Spellwork:
- If using with a hex, sprinkle around areas your target will be.
- If being used to aid with contacting the departed, asperge the area you are performing a ritual.
